On the bustling floors of ISE Barcelona - the world’s premier AV and systems integration exhibition - we took the reins to bring Barco’s innovation exhibit to life.
(READY, SET, GO)
Delivering mesmerising visuals, a total screen take-over and a 360 immersive room, we infused Barco’s exhibition stand with meaningful narratives designed around their brand. Pioneering the extraordinary at the intersection of creativity and technology.
(Our playground) → Ultra-high-resolution LED & LCD screens and projectors, many of them blasting an enormous colour palette — a chromatic kaleidoscope far superior to the average device.
(The challenge) → Harnessing the potential of Barco’s superior technologies, and pushing them past the limit of vanilla demo reels.
(Our approach) → A colour opus that echoed across every pixel and frame. Something we’ve been dreaming to create ever since the beginnings of Whojo.
(A visual journey from the past to a bright tomorrow)
From their humble past to the electrifying present and the unwritten future, we transformed their journey into a choreographed light spectacle. As the roots of Barco are located in Kortrijk, choosing a Kortrijk-based choreographer was a real no-brainer for us. The evolving dance and design mirrored Barco’s evolutionary timeline, unified by light streaks that wove the narrative together.
Guided by our art direction, a professional choreographer and dancer became the heart of our creative vision. The fluidity of her dance was captured, analysed, and digitalised using a high-precision motion capture suit. This valuable dataset transformed into radiant 3D light streaks - a testament to the power of movement.
